The Kujawa Elementary Eagle Choir was one of eight groups selected to perform on February 12 during The Texas Music Educators Association Convention 2015 at the San Antonio  González Convention Center, Texas.

According to Colleen Riddle, program director of elementary performing arts education in the district:

“This is a huge honor,” said Riddle. “TMEA selected Kujawa’s choir from among all the elementary choirs that auditioned. That is pretty amazing and indicates not only how talented this young choir is but also how talented Ms. Tate is as a choir director.”

The Eagle Choir presented a diverse program at TMEA that included seven songs in five different languages, student instrumentalists, and choreography. The choir also showcased an original composition that was performed for the first time at the convention. The Eagle Choir was honored to represent Aldine ISD at the 2015 TMEA Convention this year. We are proud of our Eagle Choir!

Samantha Tate is the choir director at the campus.
